FAQ

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
All ears are handmade and should always be handled with the care. Ears should not be left out in high temperatures, exposed to water/moisture, worn on rides, or handled roughly. Hand contact with fabric should also be limited as this may cause discoloration from natural skin oil transfers. I am not responsible for damages due to mistreatment or improper care. These care instructions are for your benefit and are solely intended to extend the life and quality of your ears. 

TURNAROUND TIMES 
TMB processing times are updated weekly and should be checked in real time, please take notice when placing your order, and keep this in mind if you are shopping for an upcoming trip. Turnaround time is updated in real-time and is located on the lavender banner located at the top of the shop site. For orders containing two or more items, please allow an additional 1 to 2 weeks for your order to be fulfilled. If I am behind in schedule due to volume, I will immediately notify you of my intended ship date. This excludes RUSH orders that have paid to be prioritized. 

CUSTOM ORDERS
For custom orders, please message the shop directly through the "Contact" tab. All custom orders must be approved before being purchased. Email should include the design you would like created and quantity, if more than one. I will reply within 24-48 hours with an approval and/or an alternate idea. If you have a firm date in which you need your order or an urgent request, please let us know in your email.

RUSH ORDERS
Rush order options are available on a first-come, first-serve basis for those who require their order by a specific date. Purchasing a rush listing does not mean you are purchasing Priority mail shipping, the rush fee is separate from shipping costs. You will need to purchase a "Rush Order" listing so I may accommodate your rush request and prioritize your order if needed before the processing time specified. Rushed production is $8.00 in addition to the cost of the ears. If you are in need of a rush order, please contact the shop first with your requested deadline to ensure we can accomodate the request prior to your purchase. Rush orders need to be approved by the shop prior to being purchased.  

SHIPPING
Ears are shipped via USPS First Class or Priority Mail from Los Angeles, CA. Tracking information will be provided by email once your shipping label has been printed, please allow 2-5 business days for your tracking to update as we only make drop-offs at the post office once a week in bulk shipments. Ears and hanging pin boards are carefully packed, sealed, and shipped with care in a 12"x 9"x 2" mailer box. Pin board frames are carefully packed, sealed, and shipped with care in a 13"x 13"x 4" mailer box. Bags are carefully packed, sealed, and shipped with care in a 10"x 13" poly-mailer envelope.

DAMAGES
Upon delivery of your ears, if there is internal damage (directly associated with production, not shipping damages) contact the shop via email at support@themouseboutiqueshop.com within 3 days of delivery, the shop will cover shipping costs on ears that are to be exchanged due to production damages. In all other cases, buyer will be responsible for return shipping.

Orders that are damaged by USPS are out of my control and TMB will not be held responsible. Should your package arrive damaged by USPS, you will need to file a claim with USPS online within the timeframe specified (click here). You must retain the damaged items and the original packaging until your claim is settled. If your order included insurance, USPS will process your claim and it will be settled with them. The shop will not be able to provide updates or information about your claim, you will need to communicate directly with USPS.

LOST/DELAYED
Orders that are lost and/or delayed by USPS are out of my control and TMB will not be held responsible. Should your package get lost in the mail and/or never arrive, you will need to file a claim with USPS online (click here) within the timeframe of the service used.

RETURNS/REFUNDS
Items are made to order, therefore, all sales are final. If for some reason you are not happy with your order once received, please let me know as soon as possible. I will do my very best to make everything satisfactory for you.

In the event a return is approved by me, buyer is responsible for the costs of the return shipping label which will be via USPS 2-Priority Mail. A return shipping label will be emailed to you and will later be deducted from the refund amount. The refund will be processed after the returned order has been received and inspected (approximately 3-6 days after return delivery).

CANCELLATIONS
You are able to cancel your order and request a full refund within 2-hours from placing your order. After the 2-hour window has closed, your order has been placed into the production queue and can no longer be cancelled as supplies and/or fabrics have been printed to fulfill your order. The only exception to override a cancellation policy is if the shop does not meet the turnaround time promised at the time of purchase, at which point, the buyer is entitled to cancel their order and request a full refund (effective on orders placed after January 1, 2019. In the event the shop waives the cancellation policy any other reason, a $5 restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount. 

EAR SIZES
One size fits most, ages 6 and up. Child (<5) and baby sizes are available upon request. All ears can be ordered in Adult, Child, or Baby size. Adult headbands use a 1" inch satin headband, child size uses a 3/4" inch headband, and baby sizes use an elastic wrap headband for comfort. The size of the ears themselves also vary in size, see below:
